Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at theccbar.com or placing an order with The Cheesecake Bar, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

About Our Products

All cheesecakes and baked goods are made fresh to order using quality ingredients. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, minor variations in appearance may occur.

We reserve the right to substitute ingredients of equivalent quality where necessary due to availability, while making reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant changes.

If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, please notify us at the time of ordering. While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, our kitchen handles common allergens including dairy, eggs, gluten, and nuts. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Placing an Order

Submitting an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase. Orders are not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us (via email or WhatsApp) and your deposit payment has been received and verified.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, unavailability of ingredients, or unusual order circumstances. In such cases, any deposit received will be refunded in full.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in Barbados Dollars (BBD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of ordering.

A deposit of 50% of your order total is typically required to confirm your order, with the remaining balance due upon delivery or pickup. Exceptions may apply at our discretion. Failure to settle the outstanding balance may result in order cancellation.

We accept payment via Scotiabank bank transfer, 1st Pay (CIBC), cash, PayPal, and other methods as displayed at checkout. Payment instructions are provided after your order is submitted.

Delivery & Collection

Delivery dates are agreed at the time of ordering. We make every reasonable effort to fulfil orders on the agreed date. In exceptional circumstances (e.g. severe weather, unexpected ingredient unavailability), we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule.

Delivery is available to parishes across Barbados. Delivery fees are calculated based on your parish and are displayed before you confirm your order. Delivery to certain parishes may be temporarily unavailable — this will be indicated at checkout.

For collection orders, it is your responsibility to collect your order at the agreed time. Uncollected orders will be held for a reasonable period. Repeated failure to collect may result in future orders requiring full payment upfront or being declined at our discretion.

Risk of damage to or loss of the products passes to you upon delivery or collection.

Cancellations & Refunds

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details on cancellations, changes, and refunds.

Freshness & Storage

Our cheesecakes are made fresh to order using high-quality ingredients. To maintain freshness and food safety, please keep your cheesecake refrigerated at or below 4°C (40°F). For the best experience, enjoy within 5–7 days of delivery or collection.

We are not responsible for product quality after delivery or pickup, including issues arising from improper storage or handling.

Allergens

Our products are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens. Our cheesecakes may contain or come into contact with:

  • Dairy
  • Eggs
  • Gluten (wheat)
  • Nuts

If you have a food allergy or dietary requirement, please notify us at the time of ordering. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

eGift Cards

eGift cards are issued electronically and are subject to the following conditions:

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable once issued
  • They have no expiry date
  • They can be redeemed against any order placed through our website or directly with us
  • Lost or stolen gift card codes cannot be replaced
  • Gift cards are not redeemable for cash

Accounts

You may create an account to track your orders and manage your preferences. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used fraudulently or in violation of these terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cheesecake Bar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website or services, or from any delay, failure, or error in providing our products.

Our total liability for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific order.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Barbados. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Barbados.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The revised version will be effective when posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
